Activity Directors are the heartbeat of the Camp IHC program. Each Director leads one of our core specialty areas — owning everything from curriculum design and daily scheduling to staff supervision, equipment management, and the overall camper experience within their department.

What the role actually looks like:
You're not just running drills or handing out supplies. You're building a program from the ground up each summer — setting the tone, developing progressive skill-based programming for campers ages 7 through 16, mentoring and managing a team of instructors and counselors within your area, and creating an environment where kids at every level feel challenged, supported, and proud of what they're accomplishing.
You'll collaborate directly with camp leadership on scheduling, special events, inter-camp competitions, and evening programming. You'll be the expert in your area — and the person your staff and campers look to for energy, structure, and inspiration.

You should bring demonstrated supervisory experience, strong organizational instincts, and the ability to adapt programming for a wide age and skill range.
